"Best plastic surgeon in the area! After exploring several options, I chose Dr. Foley because he was very qualified and knowledgeable. He was caring, professional and did a great job. He talked me through the procedure step by step. His staff was amazing and caring as well. He made sure I was pain free the entire time and put me at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking plastic surgery."- Anonymous / Office Visit / Jun 28, 2017
"I am so grateful to have the good fortune to end up in Dr. Foley's very good hands. I had undergone breast reconstruction with a different plastic surgeon 10 years ago and had a disappointing cosmetic outcome. I disliked feeling vain and insufficiently grateful for the help that I got, and was reluctant to seek another surgeon's help. I am so glad that I did. Dr. Foley is very kind and sensitive and collaborative, and so very skilled and invested in an optimal outcome for his patients."- C.H. / Healthgrades / Aug 21, 2018
"Dr Foley explained to me that if a woman has an unbalanced appearance after breast cancer, she can have surgery to create proper symmetry.I had always been 'abundant.' This was the best opportunity to get reduction surgery as well as re-establish symmetry. Dr Foley is very sensitive and kind...with a touch of gentle humor.I still can't believe that I was vain enough to get this surgery. I'm glad I did. I feel so much better. Now, I'm 'living the dream.'"- E.A. / Healthgrades / Aug 18, 2018
"Dr.Foley is AMAZING! He is a very knowledgeable surgeon that is willing to go above and beyond to help his patients. He made me feel very comfortable during my consultation and took his time answering all my questions (I had many). He has a culturally diverse staff and these ladies are very sweet from the moment you check-in. Overall, this practice exceeded my expectations and I will not go to another plastic surgeon that is not Dr.Foley."- E.B. / Google / Aug 10, 2018

What To Expect @headingTag>
Excision and shaving are the two most common techniques used to remove moles. During excision, the mole will be surgical removed or cut, but this may require stitches that leave a small scar. The shave method utilizes a scalpel to scrape or cut the mole and does not require stitches. Treatment methods will be dependent on the depth, location, and number of moles you have. During your consultation, the surgeon will discuss the best and most optimal course of treatment. The overall goal is to safely remove moles from unwanted areas to create a smooth, clear appearance. The length of the procedure is determined by your condition, but commonly takes 30 – 60 minutes.
Before undergoing mole removal surgery, you should consult with your doctor on the best methods for treatment. Although excision eliminates unsightly moles, it may leave behind a scar that is sometimes larger than the mole. Most patients receive scar revision surgery to reduce the appearance of mole scarring. Typically, patients prefer the shave method because it removes raised moles without scaring but it could leave behind the pigmented appearance of a mole. It’s important to inform yourself about both procedure options and to have realistic expectations. Mole removal surgery does not prevent future moles from occurring or moles that have been removed from potentially reoccurring.
